Minecraft is Overrated

Sorry if you can't read the text, I'll most likely edit it later, but I feel too lazy. Anyways, why am I saying this game is overrated? What makes me come to such a FALLACIOUS conclusion? Well, for one thing, there's no premise. Just hit blocks and kill things. That's it. Also, the only way you're able to have fun on Minecraft is if you download virus-ridden, laggy mods. What are mods? Basically, they're sort of like a jail-break to an iPod touch, except less fun and more laggy. However, I do have exceptions. Whenever you put your imagination and creativity into creating a nice castle or a tower,that's pretty cool. Plus, I like the soundtrack on an artistic level. But, my problems don't lie with the game itself, exactly, but with the fanbase. OH GOD THE FANBASE. The fanbase is like the cancer to the Minecraft community. They mostly consist of whiny, over-powered, spoiled, 9 year olds. However, I have met some nice people who enjoy Minecraft. Not to mention the MILLIONS of YouTube accounts SOLELY DEDICATED TO MINECRAFT. Granted, the ones that build buildings, like I said, are awesome. However, I'm talking about those who go on every day, hit blocks, showcase mods, do dumb challenges, you get the point. Perps include SkyDoesMinecraft, CaptainSparklez, BajanCanadian, and MANY MANY MORE. And their fanbase consists of the same people who play minecraft- whiny, little 9-gag or 4chan users that have nothing better to do. Worse yet, the YouTubers make more money sitting on their butts playing Minecraft than my parents ever will doing REAL WORK in 10 of their lifetimes. Not to mention we already have Minecraft- It's called Roblox, and Lego. Man, do I love me some Lego. Excuse me, while I play with my Lego castle.
